Luxe Boheme // Bali
Bali is a bewitching and beguiling destination, steeped in a kind a magic that you don’t see coming, but it unsettles you long after you have left. Perched on top of Uluwatu’s cliffs, our location had its very own kind of magic. Positioned between the Balinese Gods and the ocean below, it felt like there was no-one else on the planet except for us and this amazing group of people. We had a rain stopper who prayed continuously for 3 days, walking up and down the cliff top, deep in thought and magically pushing the clouds away to leave perfect skies. As the sun set, our bespoke reception design came alive with dazzling light, tropical flowers dripping down here and there between festoon bulbs which swayed in the breeze. Moving between 3 luxury villas, each place was styled differently with surprise elements keeping guests wowed and entertained for hours. We flew in an incredible 6 piece band from Melbourne, with Byron Bay based Photographers and an Australian make up artist to boot. It was a fabulous jet set team of suppliers who made this wedding feel as international as the world crowd we had before us, flying in from Lebanon, America, London, Dubai and New Zealand. Moving to our party villa after a mouth watering Balinese feast, guests played with sparklers before a jaw dropping firework display to Coldplay’s ‘Sky full of stars’ sung by the band themselves. It was a ‘pinch me’ moment, not just for me as their wedding planner, but for every single guest who was so loved by Natasha + Phil.
