Santa Agnes Chapel // Ibiza
There is something wildly atmospheric about a church wedding and when it’s one of the prettiest churches in Ibiza, it’s even more so. Thursday June 8th was one of those blissfully hot days where the air is still and the palms barely sway. All you can hear are crickets and the silence upon the hill at Santa Agnes church was breathtaking. The little cute cafes surrounding the square were abandoned of lunchtime clatter and chatter, making Linzi’s beautiful entrance in an incredible vintage car, even more special. Chris was full of nerves and excitement to see his bride as he waited at the blue tiled alter of Santa Agnes Chapel, as the sound of an angelic singing voice danced through the air, cutting through enough silence you could hear a pin drop, as Linzi made her way to Chris wearing a heart stopping Rosa Clara gown. It was enough to stop anyone in their tracks. Their special ceremony was followed by an equally special Atzaro reception, deep in the Ibizan countryside. Shady palms and sun dappled courtyards made for a dreamy cocktail reception before the sun disappeared behind the hills of San Lorenzo. Perhaps our favourite photograph is cutting their delicious masterpiece-reminding me of a glamorous 60’s Hollywood era where the cake was as big as their smiles…
